Mystery look 84: Cities of style
Never limit yourself!
Throughout my journey in life I've explored different cities but New York City has impacted my style the most. Before I moved to NY I was this shy teen that didn't express myself but was craving the freedom of expression. Moving to the city of dreams was one of the best decision I made thus far. Not only did it open me up to the person I am today but it gave me confidence to push forward in style.
I was in New York for almost 6 years. I had my ups and downs but the one thing I figured out was how to stay strong. New York is a magnet for an abundance of diversity of great talent. It takes a unique set of traits to survive and thrive in the big apple. There are many amazing opportunities but it's up to you to seek them out and participate. Just know NY is great place for personal growth but you have to be ready to make that change.
I'm currently living in the city of angles! It's Totally different than NYC but so far what I have learned living in LA is that it's great for the mind, body and soul. Both New York and LA are places where people come to dream and create. In LA I do things that I didn't find time to do in NY. Things such as ; hiking, meditation, eating healthy and waking up extremely early. One thing I can't adopt to is the casual dressing In LA. Dressing up is an inspiration for me, so to change that would be like me giving up. Living in NYC taught me to be ready for anything. Life is unpredictable but you can manage if you're always ready and open to the universe.
When I put this look together I wanted to look polished yet comfortable and ready for anything! I was able to add a classic feel to the look by pairing these flattering crop wide leg trousers with a more casual biker jacket and a matching tank top. Every look should have something that pops! My chimi sunglasses do just that. Whenever you're getting dressed be free to make a statement, break rules and enjoy being you!
